How it works
How we help
Your manual was written when you first completed your training and applied for your CAA permissions... You probably used a template your training provider gave you and filled in the blanks. Or they kept sending it back, telling you it wasn't right and what to change.
Add to that the fact that the CAA regularly updates the rules, regulations, and requirements, and your Ops Manual can quickly become difficult to understand and keep up to date.
Now that the CAA are regularly auditing PDRA-01 holders, it's more important than ever to make sure that your Drone Ops Manual ticks all the right boxes, AND matches how you work.
That's why we've created this service. To help you quickly and easily get (and keep) your Ops Manual up to the current standards.
We take your current Ops Manual, gather your up to date information, like the drones you fly, your insurance details and the people who fly for you, and we'll get everything into the CAA's current, preferred format.
Not only does this mean that you can be comfortable in the knowledge that your OM is 'CAA-Audit ready', but it also means that it's MUCH easier for you to stay on top of yourself moving forwards.
Who We've helped
Since we created our first Operations Manual for a client in 2014, we've produced more than 2,500 for clients worldwide. We also manage hundreds of manuals for clients on a 'managed-service' basis, ensuring that they're ALWAYS up to date. If you'd be interested in moving your Ops Manual to this, let us know once we've completed your update, and one of the Team will call you to discuss your options.

The process
what happens afterwards
Your Ops Manual is accurate so long as nothing changes.
But, as soon as the rules move, your aircraft change, or you get a new Operator ID, it's out of date... That's the version a CAA auditor or inspector reads.
Once yours is current, we can keep it that way between audits, and make any required changes for you quickly and easily, all as part of our managed service.
If you'd like to discuss this, let us know once you've recieved your updated manual, and we'll walk through how it all works (and how it might cost a lot less than you'd imagine!).

The only difference is speed. Standard comes back within five working days, our rush service gets your update OM back to you within one. The work and the guarantee are identical.
If they raise ANY concerns about the manual we produced, we'll fix it at no cost for thirty days after delivery.
Yes. It comes back clean and editable as a .docx document in the CAA-preferred structure, so it's straightforward to maintain later.
Not on its own.
We offer a separate service to walk you through a CAA Audit, step by step.
This service includes an Ops Manual Update if you need one.
See CAA audit guidance, which covers the manual update and a guide to answering the CAA.
We will start work on your OM update as soon as we receive your completed onboarding form & current Ops Manual.
You'll receive access to your onboarding form via email as soon as you purchase the service, so keep an eye on your inbox (and check your junk/spam folder, too).
Our 'service clock' (5/1 working day(s)) starts as soon as you send everything over, so we can get going! :)
Yes. We work from whatever you have. It comes back in the current CAA-preferred structure, which may look quite different to what you're used to. That's normal, and it's what makes the next update straightforward rather than another rebuild.
As part of the update, you may also find that the 'numbering' of your Ops Manual Amendments changes. This is all part of moving your manual to a new format, and is totally accepted by the CAA.
Again, it makes it easier for you to keep things updated in the future too. :)
The price is the same either way. We read the whole manual and change everything that needs changing, whether that turns out to be one section or all of it.
No, and we'd rather say so than take the order and hope. Rush capacity is limited each day, so we can maintain quality.
We strongly advise calling or emailing us before you order on the 'rush' service, so we can tell you how we can help. If you purchase rush service without speaking to us, we'll still do our best to complete everything on time, but we can't guarantee it. In that case, we'd give you a shout, and you can request a refund if needed.
No. It's a one-off. Pay once and get your manual back. If the regulations change again later, you can order another update at the price it is then.
Alternatively, once we've completed your update, let us know, and we can chat about you joining our managed service.
Where next
An update on its own may not be the right answer. Here's what covers both.
